I love living in the South; the land of Sweet Tea, Coca-Cola, and HUGE bugs, unfortunately all things I reeeally dislike. What I do enjoy are coffee, babies, and tacos, if you think about it, you can never have too many of either of them. I have three little humans under the age of 6 and a wonderful husband who has definitely been my biggest cheerleader in life. The first year (2 under 2) is the hardest but I love seeing the friendship between my littles blossom. I have always wanted to be a plant lady, I dream of being surrounded by hoyas and monsteras but sadly, I was just never given that green thumb. I will unapologetically rock a mom bun at your session and mostly likely have a hot coffee no matter the season. I will also take the utmost care when it comes to safety of your little one and your family.
I truly love what I do! My favorite question..
"You actually take pictures when someone is having a baby?!"
You bet I do! Between the whirlwind of emotions, hormones, and how quickly birth can move, I absolutely love documenting the journey. No two birth stories are the same and having images to be able to look back on that once on a lifetime moment are a blessing.
The birth space and serving families is my dream. I am a proud member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers. I"m dedicated to my clients to a fault, the first birth I documented lasted 22 hours. I will do everything in my power to make sure I am at your birth, no matter how long it takes!
A cheerleader by nature, I was also given a heart for serving. I volunteer my time to serve families through Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, it is such an amazing organization. I have recently started my training to be a certified birth and bereavement Doula as well.
